CAF Cattle Company began in 2011 when Andy and Crystal Frank got married and moved to the family ranch. We started with 20 head of commercial cows, buying and selling calves in our family feedlot, and custom-feeding cattle for some neighbors.

 

Our feedlot is located just north of Iliff, Colorado. Here at our home place, we have a wide range of options to meet your needs, including personalized feeding plans. We specialize in heifer development, backgrounding calves, and are available to provide AI services.

 

In 2013, we sold our commercial herd and bought registered Lim-Flex heifers to start our seedstock operation. We sold our first set of bulls in 2015 and have been growing ever since. We partnered with Gordon and Earline Schuppe of Elmwood Limousin to grow our herd and jointly sold our bulls. In 2019, upon Schuppes’ retirement, we hosted our own Annual Bull Sale selling over 30 head. In addition to our bull sale, we also offer open heifers for sale via private treaty.  As of 2020, we are running over 75 registered Lim-Flex cows on our land and plan to continue to bring you over 30 head of high-quality registered Lim-Flex bulls each March.
